| To commemorate a 45th wedding anniversary, wedding album photos were scanned and re-size/re-printed to fit this poster frame. Photos are primarily arranged in order of the events of the original wedding that took place on December 28, 1958. 26 photos were re-sized/re-printed to 4"x5" and several smaller photos were used to fill in and give some visual variation in presentation. Any special occasion can be commemorated in this manner, and it is a fun and unique way for the recipient to remember, as well as a heirloom for future generations to enjoy. This particular poster now hangs in the hallway of the "bride & groom's" home. The "bride" loved the idea of seeing her "wedding album" on display everyday, and states that each time she passes it, she remembers why she married the "groom".

Graduation Mat(left photo-front & right photo-back): Created
for the artist's daughter, Emily, this mat is made up of original
photos of Emily that were air-brushed onto the mat. The "Wolverine"
is the High School mascot. Air-brushed photos include Emily at various
stages of her young life and around the window opening of the photo
is written "...follow your heart, follow your dreams ..."
The photo is one taken for Emily's senior pictures. The mat, along
with a matching pen was then given to Emily to take to school and
have all of her friends sign. The mat was then encased in a double
plexiglas frame held together by screws/wing nuts and sits on an
easel so that both sides can be viewed. This has become a wonderful
memory for Emily. This type of frame can be created for any occasion,
and is only limited by the imagination of the giver. |
